Dress Up Happy Day

Hi Stamping Friends.  This is one of my favorite cards.  The 5/8" flower trim makes the perfect skirt (it's my style -- sort of frilly).  The colors are crumb cake, pool party, brushed silver, and very vanilla.  The designer paper is More Amore.  The dress form is from the dress up framelits.  Trimmed with pearls and ribbon.

Pinwheel Birthday

Hi Stamping Friends.  We have snow on the ground, and more is expected.  I'm so ready for spring!!!  So I made a card "thinking" spring.  The pinwheel sizzlet die is so easy to use.  The colors are Primrose Petals, Very Vanilla, and Pool Party.  The More Amore Designer Specialty paper.  The argyle embossing folder was also used, topped with glimmer brads.

The ribbon is from the Sale-A-Bration Sycamore Street ribbon/button pack.  Last day of SAB -- March 22!!!  Did you get your order in.  If not, click here to place your order (for every $50 spent, you get FREE items).

Bloomin' Marvelous

Hi Stamping Friends.  Sale-A-Bration ends March 22nd.  The stamp sets for SAB are so pretty and versatile. The Bloomin' Marvelous set was used following the same basic design, however, the top card has the right side of the card trimmed using the Adorning Accents edgelit.  Such a small change, makes such a big difference.

The colors are pool party, rich razzleberry, and island indigo.  Also used from the Sale-A-Bration selection is the ribbon and button (from the Sycamore Street Ribbon Pack).

So hurry and place your order for $50 or more and get your free Sale-A-Bration items.

Cute Bunny Box

Hi Stamping Friends.  Isn't this adorable.  The head actually lifts up with an Easter greeting inside.  We made this at our brainstorming group the other night.

The following were used ... scallop punch, 1" circle, 1/2" circle, blossom builder punch, and Hearts A Flutter framelits.  The ribbon is Melon Mambo striped organdy ribbon.

Artisan Embellishment Wedding

Hi Stamping Friends.  Whew!  What a week.  I had classes all week, a good thing, but it doesn't give me much time for other things (like posting on my blog).

Today's card was made by me and my 9-year old granddaughter.  She wanted a wedding card for her uncle, and this is what we came up with.  I started with the hearts, and she did most of the rest of it.  Can't wait until she's 18 (well ... sort of), so she can sign up as a demonstrator!!  She is so talented already.

The colors are black, crumb cake and whisper white.  Most of the embellishments are from the Artisan Embellishments Kit found in the Spring Catalog.  The rhinestones on the bride were colored with a Sharpie marker, great way to get the color you want.

Well, there's only a few more days left of Sale-A-Bration.  Perhaps you might be older than 18, and would like to become a demonstrator.  It's a great time to do so.

Beautiful Birthday

Hi Stamping Friends.  Simple post for a simple, elegant card that was used for one of my card ministry classes.  The roses are the 5/8" flower trim, colored with regal rose ink.  The colors are pink pirouette, old olive and very vanilla.  The sentiment is a single stamp called Beautiful Birthday.  The vase is from Button Buddies stamped in soft suede.  Loving the ovals framelits!

Dream Dress Forms

Hi Stamping Friends. I finally got my blogger to work so the pictures are going in the right direction. I had such a blast making these cards. It was actually "playing time" for me! Usually I'm creating and preparing for classes, but I made these "just for fun"!

Front of both cards.

The dress was made using paper doily sponged with melon mambo, vellum card stock, and whisper white card stock.  Belt is a piece of silver glitter card stock, embellished with a large rhinestone.  There are also three rhinestones used at the top of the dress.

The melon mambo vase was punched using the ornament punch and embossed with the Argyle Embossing folder, and the black vase is actually from the top of the dress form on the card trimmed down a bit.  I also cut off the side legs of the table so it just has the decorative base.
When I originally saw these dies and framelits, my thoughts were "what in the world could I  make with them"?  Well, I decided to get them anyway and started imagining other creations besides dresses.  Right now I also see a fireplace (in my head) ... have to put that one into "action".

Card Base Pop ‘n Cuts (Item #130099)
Dress Form Pop ‘n Cuts (Item #130100)
Dress Up Framelit Dies (Item #130101)
What kind of "creation" can you think of?
