Wild Plastic Background

This month's technique was fun.  When the card was designed the retired list had not yet come out.  Unfortunately the background stamp, It's Wild, is retiring.  I love the way the background looks like water (thanks Stamping School).  The background was stamped in soft sky, then dotted with plastic wrap (on the stamp itself).  Stamp the paper, then sponge over the top with soft sky.  The fish are stamped with From Land to Sea in soft suede.  It's hard to tell, but the fish have been colored with Clear Wink of Stella, which makes them look like real fish scales.  The other colors are Pool Party and Soft Suede for the background.  Have fun with the technique!

Going Global

This is one of the technique cards we made for April.  I will record a video of the actual technique in the near future ...everything shown on this card is being retired (other than the sahara sand and black paper), that was not planned!

The world map was stamped with Archival Gray Ink.  The globe and stars were from the Going Global stamp set.  The color of the globe and sentiment are Lost Lagoon, and the other paper is from Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack.  ALL retiring!  When this card was created that wasn't the case!  Check out the retiring list tab for the most current items available.

If you'd like to place an order, simply email me or order online.
