Technique Time ... The crumb cake layer toward the bottom of the card is where the sand was "made". A simple technique by spritzing the cardstock with water and using your finger in a swirl motion to bring up the fibers, which look like sand. Then while still damp tear the top edge (tearing toward you).

Alcohol marker compatibility:Memento
is preferred when using alcohol-based markers as it won't bleed,
