Faux Metal Technique

Technique Time!  This technique has been done in the past, but it's always fun to bring back some of the previously used techniques. Embossing with layers of embossing powder and a nice stamp are all you need! And, of course, a heat tool.

Card measurements:

Pretty Peacock    5-1/2 x 8-1/2,  2-1/4 x 3-1/4, 2 x 3 leaves
Copper Clay    3-3/4 x 5, 2-3/4 x 4
Earthen Elegance Designer Paper        3 x 3-1/2

Blending Mountains & Clouds

 

Technique Time!  This is not a new technique, but so pretty.  Create a mountain and cloud look by using torn pieces of cardstock or post-it note. This technique can be done with the blending brushes, sponges, or daubers.

Card measurements:

Starry Sky    5-1/2 x 8-1/2
Orchid Oasis    3-3/4 x 3-3/4, 1 x 3-3/4
Basic White    3-1/2 x 3-1/2, 1 x 2-1/2, 1-1/2 x 3-1/2 (mask)
Black        3 x 4 (bear)

Theater Spotlight Technique

 

Technique Time!  This cute card that was originally created for my adult granddaughter who loves turtles. It would also be a cute card for a younger child as well.  I have seen this technique done, only completely sponged or blended; however, I decided to do it a different way, just needing to only sponge/blend the bottom portion only.

Card measurements:
