Watercolor Designer Series Paper

Technique time!  This month we watercolored our Magnolia Lane Designer paper.  Super easy technique ... simply take the aqua painter and dip in a few drops of refill (in this case we used gorgeous grape) and paint over the white flowers.  By using the aqua painter, the peach color came through giving it more dimension.  Stampin' blends can also be used to color the paper, but this gave it a totally different look.  Give it a try!

Warm Rustic Retreat

I'm really excited to start creating with my Holiday preorder items, but still needed to create for my Christmas card class prior to my delivery.  the Annual Catalog has a couple of Christmas stamp sets that are very nice.  This one, called Rustic Retreat, is one of those.  The background is stamped in Sahara Sand with the Birch background stamp.  The cabin is colored with Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake, and Mossy Meadow Dark Stampin Blends.
