Faux Denim Technique

One of the techniques for club was faux denim.  Super easy!  (I know I say that every month LOL).  But this really is.

Simply fill an uninked stampin spot with craft white ink.  (You could use just the large craft white ink pad, but the effect is not quite the same because the ink spot is fabric not foam like the large pad.)  Drag the ink spot in one direction from top to bottom on a piece of night of navy cardstock.  If you hesitate on the way down you will get a little line, but it adds to the character.  See, super easy!  Give it a try.

Isn't the walrus cute?  I don't typically do cutesy cards, but I couldn't resist this guy.  This is a card we did in technique class.  Super simple (I know, I say that all the time LOL).  But, really it is.
