Technique Time! These cards were so fun to create by using black and
white photos and the Stampin' Blends. Simply color portions of the
photos to highlight the flowers. Add coordinating cards
stock and sentiment and that's it! Thanks to my daughter-in-law,
Ronessa, who took most of the photos and allowed me to share them.
This card we made for our fancy fold in June technique club. The Sail Away Bundle worked perfectly for it. It looks more intricate and difficult than it really is. To create the inside of the card, adhere DSP as pictured. Stamp small white pieces. Adhere to small navy pieces. Fold 1” x 11” strip on score lines (2-3/4, 5-1/2, 8-1/4) to open like W. Adhere thread to right end. Adhere left side of strip, then right side to card. Center images to each section and adhere. Thank you for joining us on our Alaskan Achiever’s Blog Hop! Those hopping today are Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all around the world who have achieved the prestigious Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip that only a limited number around the world achieve. Our assignment was to use any of the products from the new Occasions or Sale-a-bration catalogs. I chose a combination of the Apron of Love stamp set and the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper. Some people struggle to make masculine cards. I actually enjoyed making these. The True Gentlemen designers series paper made it easy! My first card features a plaid apron from the designer paper screams which screams masculine!
