Simple Quilt Technique

 

Technique Time -- I love quilt cards.  This particular one is super simple ... hence the title of this message.  I learned how to do this technique from another demonstrator.  The Country Woods designer series paper paired with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder works well to create a great looking quilt design.

Altered Strips

Technique Time. The new Country Woods Designer Series paper has a striped piece that works perfectly for this technique by cutting off half inch strips and placing them on a small piece of white and altering each strip so the lines do not line up.

No Line Stamping

Technique Time -- this no line stamping technique creates a watercolor like project.  Instead of using markers or blends, a mask is being used with a sponge dauber or a blending brush to fill in the color.
