Background Stamping

Technique Time - This technique is very simple (I know I always say that) .. simply randomly stamp an image on the entire piece that will be used for a backdrop for your main image.

Video Instructions -- which include not only the technique, but assembling of the scissors (with a few tips), the paper cutter, and punching a smaller piece than the original size of the punch.

Transforming Gold to Silver Technique

Technique time.  This was a technique I happened to stumble upon. Using Stazon (or alcohol pad), you can remove the gold from the gold foil and turn it into silver. So far it only works on gold (not copper or silver).

Dauber Background and Leaves

 

Technique time.  Today we are using daubers and ink to create a background and leaves.  For the background simply create a pattern using different colors of ink daubed onto white cardstock in random patterns. For the leaves, repeat then punch out leaves from the pattern.

Card measurements:

Coastal Cabana    5-1/2 x 8-1/2, 3-1/x2 circle
Basic White    4 x 5-1/4, 3 x 3 circle, 1-1/2 x 5 (2)
