Background Ink Smear

Technique Time! This technique I'm calling background ink smear. There is a similar card using this background technique here. There are a couple ways to do this technique -- one using an ink spot, and the other is using the foam stamp pad. Each gives a similar yet different look.

Fractured Card Technique

Technique time! Today's card is called Fractured Card Technique. It can be done by first cutting out a square and piecing things back together (as shown in the top two cards); however, I chose an easier route and simply placed a piece of designer series paper in the center and designed from there. It was less bulky and had pretty much the same outcome.
