Hexagon Hive Birthday

Hi Stamping Friends.  Today's card looks more "involved" than it really is.  The background is stamped with the Hardwood set, then the Hexagon Hive framelit is layered on top of that.  The flowers and butterflies are colored with the blendabilities (had to try them out) ...  The colors are Coastal Cabana, Blackberry Bliss and Whisper White.  Stamp sets are Flower Shop and Papillon Potpourri.

Blending on Foil

Hi Stamping Friends.  I was doing some "experimenting" with our new Blendabilities.  These two cards are the result.  The top card was done using aluminum foil, and swiping 3 different Blendabilities and adding a Stazon image (from the stamp set World of Dreams).  Then I embossed it with clear Versamark.  It's a technique called Faux Enamel.  The bottom pic uses our Silver Foil sheets, stamped Mixed Bunch with Stazon and colored with the Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities.  Those babies are soooo versatile!

Hi Stamping Friends.  Where are the Clouds (now I have that song in my head) ... Here is one of the cards we made for technique club.  The technique was "clouds".  This is a CASE (original unknown) ... The colors are marina mist, black, and whisper white.  The ink colors are marina mist, soft sky, wild wasabi, old olive, daffodil delight, and black Stazon.  The stamp sets are World of Dreams and Four You.

RIP - Big Shot

Hi Stamping Friends ... After 5 years of use, my Big Shot finally bit the dust. It served me well! Anyone who has been in any of my classes knows how much that poor baby was used (and abused)!!!!!!  But not to worry, I received a FREE Big Shot 2 years ago (thinking it was going to die then -- you know, once the warranty was up), so at least I'm right back in business.

And ... here's a card using my poor baby!

This is one of the cards we made in our Technique Class (that I learned in Stamping School).  The Chevron Embossing folder was run through the Big Shot.  The technique was masking over water colors.
