Elements Birthday

Image
Hi Stamping Friends.  Hope you are all safe from the storms.  Here is a simple card that we made at my Brainstorming meeting last month.  Just got around to posting ... The colors are crumb cake, very vanilla and raspberry ripple.  The stamp set is Elements of Style. To place your Stampin' Up! supply order, click here .

Corny Thanksgiving

Image
Hi Stamping Friends.  This layout I have previously used (dimensions can be found on the link), but this was a special request from one of the members of my groups that regularly meets.  When I got the stamp set Perfectly Preserved, I was not real fond of the corn.  It just didn't do anything for me ... but I love the way it turned out on this card.  The matching paper, Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper, makes the perfect duo. The colors are Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso (Core’dinations Card Stock embossed with the woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and lightly sanded), Cajun Craze, and Very Vanilla. Autumn Silhouettes

Image
Hi Stamping Friends.  Did you miss me???  My husband and I just came back from a little mini vacation in Florida.  I think one of the things I missed the most was being able to stamp (pretty sad) ... (yes, I missed my family too). This is a CASE from Mary Brown.  The colors are Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Certainly Celery, More Mustard, and Very Vanilla.  The mask is from the Autumn Accents Bigz Die (found in the Holiday catalog).  The stamp set is Serene Silhouettes. Well ... back to my stamping room to make some more projects. To order your Stampin' Up! supplies, click here .

Goofy Turkey

Image
Hi Stamping Friends.  Every once in a while, I get a little crazy, and create crazy things.  That's what today's card is.  I wanted to demonstrate the rosette die, but didn't really feel like a Lollie.  So this is what I came up with ... a half-lollie.  The turkey itself is a CASE (can't remember where I got it from, sorry). The colors are Tangerine Tango, Early Espresso, Chocolate Chip (2-5/8" scallop circle - body, 1-3/4" scallop circle cut in half - wings, 1-3/8" circle - head).  The eyes are black circles from the itty bitty punch pack, the beak is from the blossom punch, and the waddle is from the Tasteful Trim die, trimmed.  The feet are from the Boho Blossom punch.  And how about the goofy hair on the top -- that's early espresso tulle.  We made this at club, and the girls seemed to have fun with it.  We used the Silicone Craft Sheet found in the Holiday Catalog (page 31) and hot glue gun to assemble. Sanded Embossing

Image
Hi Stamping Friends.  Life sure can get crazy....it seems like whenever a vacation is planned, more stuff crops up. I was trying something new with my embossing folders, by sanding them once they are embossed.  The colors are Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla, and Lucky Limeade.  The stamp set is Easy Events embellished with pearls.  The embossing folders are Elegant Bouquet and Flower Garden.  The designer paper is Summer Smooches. Lovely Sympathy

Image
Hi Stamping Friends.  Today's card is a CASE from one of my fellow demonstrator, JoAnn Marsch.  We have a "brainstorming" session each month where we exchange cards and ideas.  This is one of our exchanges. It's such a simple card, but it's so pretty.  The colors are Old Olive, Black and Whisper White.  The tree is from the old standby, Lovely As A Tree.  It's embossed with black embossing powder, then daubered (is that a word??) with old olive.  The sentiment is from Love and Sympathy.  The black/gray striped ribbon is from the Holiday Catalog. October Technique Club

Faux Layer Technique Bandana Technique Shaving Cream Technique Hi Stamping Friends.  Yesterday our Technique Club met, and these are the three techniques we did.  Things got a little messy, but we had a great time!  Each person receives a 6x6 photo album to put their instructions and 3 x 3 samples into the book.  It's a great way to remember how to do the technique.  Interested in joining a technique club?  Simply email me for more information.
