Thoughtful Branches

Last chance to get the Thoughtful Branches bundle (or separates).  This versatile set will not be available once it is sold out.  I love everything about it!  The stamps, the framelits, the sentiments!  This is just one variation of the set.  The flower part can also be used as leaves on the tree that is included in the set.

Rubber-band Stamping

Learning a new technique (or old one that is revisited) is always fun.  This technique I'm calling rubber-band stamping.  Super simple!

For this card, mask the left and right side (about 1-1/2" wide open).  Wrap a rubberband (or two) around a clear block.  That is now your stamp.  Ink it up with ink and spritz with water (lightly), and press onto card.  In this card, black Memento and Pink Flamingo ink were used.  After stamping, sponge with pink flamingo.  Remove mask and stamp with leaves from Pop of Paradise.

Peek-a-boo Bear

Isn't this adorable.  This was one of last month's technique cards for clubs.  When the card is closed, the center closes upon itself.  Cut out shape in center of 3 x 5-1/4’ piece.  Stamp inside image.  Attach piece with dimensionals on top and bottom.  For inside shutter, measure 4” side up 2”, then over 1”.  Find center point.  Draw triangle, which will be cut out.  Score opposite side at 1/2”.  Place points underneath hole, matching sides with sides of card.  Use strong adhesive, close onto shutter pieces.  Close card.
