Dahlia Fold Flowers

Technique #2 for August.  Dahlia Folds.  This card is actually a CASE, but it was too pretty NOT to copy! The flowers are simply 1-3/4" & 1-1-2" circles that are sponged and folded.  The 1-7/8" scallop punch was used for the bottom of the flowers.  Everything Eleanor works perfectly for the stems.  Lots of Labels nicely frames the entire image.

Below is the video and supply list.

Making Your Own Stamps

It's technique time!  Today's technique is making stamps out of framelits.  A little fun foam cut out using a framelit, and add it to a clear or wood block, and you have a cool stamp!

Funny how you get stamp sets, and like a specific stamp in the group.  Then someone shows you one stamp (that you never knew was in the set) and it's like getting a whole new stamp set!!!  That's what happened when I was shown the square border around the butterfly.  It's in the stamp set called Tin of Cards.  When I first got the set, I originally just liked the sentiments, but now I like the entire set!

The main butterfly is one layer.  Watch the video to see how it's done!  The supply list is below the video.

Early Christmas Ornament

Oh no!  Not Christmas yet!!!  YEP!  I was just too excited and had to play with my new toys that I preordered from the upcoming holiday catalog.  This is a CASE from that catalog.  This is one of the cards we will be making this card at my next Christmas stamp-a-stack on Monday.

How would you like to be able to preorder new "toys" too?  That's only one of the perks of being a demonstrator.  In addition, there is a nice product discount....AND, if you join my team, I offer free Technique classes and half-price classes.  Interested?  Whether you'd just like the perks and discounts or you'd like to make it a business, it's a win-win either way.  Join my team (click here).

Bohemian Wild About Flowers

Oh my goodness....I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted.  My apologies.  Took a little vacation (not from stamping, just a vacation!!).

Today's card is one we made in a recent Stamp-A-Stack.  I love the colors ... bermuda bay and pacific point!  The designer paper gave me the idea (Bohemian DSP).  The stamp set is Wild About Flowers.

If you are interested in holding your own stamp-a-stack event in the Milwaukee/Metro area, feel free to email me.  It's pretty simple ... get 5 or more people together, tell me what kind of cards you might like, and enjoy the evening.  Everything is provided and there is no purchase obligation.  Cost is $15 (8 cards, 4 design).

Birthday Garden

English Garden and Pictogram Punches -- who would have thought these two would go together.  But I love the little vase and flowers in the Pictogram Punches set.  The paper in the English Garden is so versatile and pretty.  The card base uses the thick whisper white .... I love that stuff!  This is a card we made in a recent stamp-a-stack.

Are you interested in joining one of my stamp-a-stacks?  I'm considering opening up additional classes this fall.  Email me if you're interested.
