Water Stamping Birthday

Hi Stamping Friends.  This is one of the cards we made in the technique club the other day.  The technique is called water stamping.  The colors are Cherry Cobbler and Tangerine Tango.

To do the technique, simply generously sponge Cherry Cobbler and Tangerine Tango randomly on Whisper White (or very vanilla) cardstock.  Place a well saturated with water paper towel (folded in half) in a pan or dish....this will be the stamp pad.  Use a flourish type stamp (I used Everything Eleanor) and place the stamp on the paper towel to get it nice and wet, then stamp the wet stamp onto the sponged background.  As the water dries it creates the ghosted image.  I found darker colored ink seemed to work better.  The clock is from the stamp set Forever Young stamped in Black Stazon.
