Anyway, I wanted to ink up my new rubber -- Clearly For You (#121976 clear). I just loved those little raspberries. That was how I came up with the color scheme. I first colored the raspberries in rose red, then I didn't like the way they turned out, so I went to rich razzleberry. That I liked! The leaves on the flowers are colored with the always artichoke marker. I already had the rose red card stock cut, so I thought I would use it. It actually doesn't pair too badly with the rich razzleberry. The other layer is crumb cake embossed using the square lattice embossing folder (no, I didn't use the tulip frame -- but I was tempted). The bird is punched using the extra large bird punch. The scallop edge border punch worked well on the rose red layer. The ribbon is 1/4" rich razzleberry grosgrain.
What do you think? Is this a yeh or a nay???

Hi Stampers. Today's card is a total CASE (copy and share everything). Unfortunately, I don't have the "owners" name. If this is your design, email me so I can give you credit.
Anyway, the pear pizazz background is embossed using my favorite embossing folder -- tulip border (what else!?). The next layer is poppy parade 4-1/4" x 3" (perfect size that fits in the frame). The striped paper is from the Springtime Vintage Designer Paper (found in the mini), and the flowers are stamped from the Sale-A-Bration set called Sweet Summer. The ribbon is actually 5/8" certainly celery, which matches the pear pizazz pretty well.
To get your Sweet Summer stamp set (FREE), simply place a $50 order. You can get that set or others in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. What a good deal!!!

Stamping 411 sketch challenge. The simple layout and color scheme would be great for a guy or a girl. The colors are pacific point, sahara sand, very vanilla, and a piece of Blueberry Crisp designer series paper. The stamp sets used are Nature Walk (colored using pacific point and crumb cake markers), Punch Potpourri Hostess Level 1 (stamped with pacific point on sahara sand, then punch out with bird punch). The decorative border on the the pacific point is punched using the scallop trim border punch. Oh, and I can't forget the tulip frame embossing folder.....it felt neglected.
How would you like to earn the Punch Potpourri Hostess Level 1 stamp set (or any of the hostess sets). Simply gather a few of your friends together for a time of stamping and fun (my house or yours). Sale-A-Bration is an excellent time to hold your workshop. For every $50 you or your customers spend, they receive a FREE sale-a-bration gift, plus if your workshop totals $300 or more, YOU receive an additional sale-a-bration set (plus hostess benefits).
To schedule your workshop, please email me or call.

Hello stampers. Today's card is on the vintage side. The background is crumb cake, with the next layer in early espresso embossed using the square lattice embossing folder. The very vanilla oval center (cut using the Ovals Bigz die) is stamped in crumb cake using the Bliss stamp (from the Sale-A-Bration collection). The riding hood red butterflies are cut and embossed using the Beautiful Wings embosslit die and sponged with early espresso. The bottom portion of the card is a 2" x 5" piece of Botanical Gazette designer paper (found in the Occasions Mini), crumbled up, then sanded to get the totally vintage look. The side ribbon is cut using the ribbon punch topped off with a taffeta ribbon. Any of the Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiments would work well, then cut out using the word window punch, encased with a modern label punched piece of riding hood red.

The background on the card is basic black, baja breeze, very vanilla and Vintage Springtime Designer series paper. The 1/8" marina mist ribbon adds the daintiness of the image, as well as the Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiment. The three small flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes set filled with a pearl finish it off.
I haven't really talked much about the My Digital Studio. It's a fantastic program that can be used for cards, scrapbooking, calendars, and even brochures. In fact, I designed my blog header with MDS. I'm MDS certified, so if you are interested in classes or purchasing MDS (only $79.95), email me or call if you have any further questions. Below is a video with a few details about the program.

It has been so long since I've done a sketch challenge, but I was feeling challenged in coming up with a layout design, so I accepted the challenge. I think the look has sort of a funky, modern look, don't you? The background is basic black, with Love Letters designer paper as the next layer, and Riding Hood Red and Very Vanilla rounding out the colors. The stamp set is from the Sale-A-Bration set called Sweet Summer. The large scallop circle was cut from the Circles #2 Bigz Die, and the little mini flowers are from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch set (which match the flowers on the design perfectly!). The black satin ribbon adds the final elegance to this card.
Have you gotten your FREE Sale-A-Bration gifts yet? For each $50 spent, you will receive one of the gifts. OR, you could hold a workshop from now until the end of March, and qualify for even more FREE stuff. Contact me for to schedule your workshop.

Hi Stampers! It's baaaack! Yes, I had to go back to the tulip frame impressions folder. But I also played with some of my newest toys . . . Build A Blossom Stamp set and Petals Blossom punch. Isn't the flower beautiful. Isn't even prettier in real life. The petals are so soft looking ... they're stamped with concord crush on white card vellum, then punched and layered onto the whisper white card stock. The sentiment is from the Thought & Prayers stamp set.

Hi Stampers. Today's cards use the same layout with one minor change ... a flower instead of a stamped image. The melon mambo and whisper white card bases also include the Ice Cream Parlor designer paper that is in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. The stamp set is Valentine Defined from the Occasions Mini Catalog. The little melon mambo pom-pom trim just adds a whimsical touch.

Hello stampers! Guess what! I didn't use the tulip frame today (well, I did, but that will be another post).....
This is a card that we made with a bunch of girls (ages 8-11). They really enjoyed it. The whisper white card is the backdrop for the real red and always artichoke. The stamp set used is called Sweetheart (found on page 58 in the IBC catalog). I love the glitter paper that can be found in the mini catalog. It doesn't leave glitter all over the place, yet it adds just enough glitz on the page. The large heart was punched using the full heart punch and the small hearts were punched with the small heart punch. The paper is just the perfect thickness for the punches.

Hello Stampers. Guess what!? I used the tulip border embossing folder again ... I just can't help myself. Maybe there's a "group" for that. Anyway, I just love this card and its simplicity. The flower is from the Nature Walk set, colored with regal rose and always artichoke. The regal rose seam binding is the perfect match, accented with the flower brad. The birthday sentiment is from the Create a Cupcake set (although any sentiment would work perfectly).
How would you like to get the Tulip Border embossing folder FREE! Simply place a minimum $75 order through me (email or call), and I'll add that to your order. PLUS, you qualify for a FREE Sale-A-Bration bonus. Then you, too, can become "addicted" to this folder.

Hello Stampers -- Today I'm featuring a baja breeze tulip framed card (I just LOVE that folder, can you tell??), with an image from the Slice of Life Level 1 Hostess set from the Occasions Mini catalog. Such a fun set. The ribbon is the Baja Breeze seam binding fastened with a Flower Brad. The sentiment if from the Curly Cute set (found in the Idea Book). The colors surrounding the image are Regal Rose and Basic Gray.
It's easy to earn the Hostess set ... simply gather 5 or more of your friends together to learn how to make a couple of projects. For a $150 workshop, you would receive any Hostess Level 1 set plus $15 in FREE product. And during Sale-A-Bration, your guests not only can earn FREE product for every $50 they spend, but if your workshop totals $300 or more, you get an additional Sale-a-Bration set. To host your workshop during February or March, please contact me. I will also give an extra bonus for the first 3 people who book their workshops.
