Perfect Paisley Thanks

Perfect Paisley is one of the stamp sets that we received during convention in July.  When I showed my husband the card, he said it was "okay" ... paisley's remind him of eyeballs (LOL).  So I'm not sure if he didn't like the card, or just the paisley.  Anyway ... the pumpkin was stamped in pumpkin pie then rock-n-rolled in cajun craze.  The cajun craze frame around the pumpkin was made using the heart border punch.  Other colors used are more mustard (embossed with the square lattice embossing folder), very vanilla, early espresso, and Autumn Spice Designer specialty paper.  A little antique brad completes the look.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

French Foliage

The French Foliage set from the Holiday Mini is one of my favorite stamps for fall.  It is so versatile.  The colors are cajun craze, more mustard, early espresso, and very vanilla.  The Autumn Spice Designer Specialty paper pairs nicely with this set as well.  The new Decorative Label punch can easily be framed with the same punch.  A Glimmer Basic brad adds a little bling.

Stamp Sets:  French Foliage, Day of Gratitude (sentiment)
Ink:  Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Early Espresso

Bells and Boughs Tri Fold

This is one of the cards we did for a Christmas Stack-A-Stamp held last Saturday.  It's the same design as the previous tri-fold card.  The colors are crumb cake, cherry cobbler, and very vanilla.  The stamp set is Bells and Boughs from the Holiday Mini catalog.  It's a little difficult to see, but the bells and bow have a gold glittery sheen to them.  By mixing one drop of Champagne mist shimmer paint to more mustard and cherry cobbler reinkers, you get the beautiful results shown here (of course, it's must prettier in real life!).  The little gold dots on the bell are made using the gold smooch.  Chunky glitter around the perimeter of the image finishes off the front.  As an accent on the left panel, we used Deck the Halls designer paper (also found in the mini).  The closure was either made using the little holly from the stamp set Tags Til Christmas, or Deck the Halls Designer buttons.

Stamp Sets:  Bells and Boughs, Tags Til Christmas (optional)
Ink:  More mustard, cherry cobbler reinkers (mixed with a drop of champagne mist shimmer paint), always artichoke, gold smooch
Paper:  Crumb cake, cherry cobbler, very vanilla, Deck the Halls designer paper
Extras:  Deck the Halls Designer buttons (optional), aqua painter, Champagne chunky glass glitter, 3/4" x 15/16" Oval punch

Candy Cane Christmas Birthday

Candy Cane Christmas Designer Specialty paper is not just for Christmas.  With all it's red glitter on a few sheets of the paper, it's great for a bright and fun birthday card.  The colors are baja breeze and real red.  The new square scallop die on page 17 in the Holiday Mini catalog is the perfect size to outline the square scallop punch.  The birthday sentiment is from the Afterthoughts Hostess Level 1 stamp set.  The cupcake is from the Party Hearty set.

Day of Gratitude Tri Fold Card

This is one of those cards that looks much more difficult to make, than it actually is.  The bottom layer is 8-1/2 x 4-1/4, scored at 5-1/2 in Bravo Burgundy.  The middle layer in Bravo Burgundy is 3" x 7", scored at 4".  It is just layered onto the back of the bottom layer.  The closure is just circles attached with a dimensional.

Stamp Set:  Day of Gratitude (holiday mini catalog)
Card Stock:  Bravo Burgundy, Very Vanilla, Old Olive

French Foliage Birthday

This is a card that we will be making at club tonight.  This new technique I learned uses the actual clear mounting blocks as a stamp.  Simply ink up one of the blocks (I used "B" for this card) with classic ink, and stamp on card stock.  It works a bit better if you place the pad from the mat pack under the stamping area for a little support.  Then stamp the image over the square image.

Stamp Sets:  French Foliage, Curly Cute
Ink:  More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso
Paper:  Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, Autumn Spice Designer Specialty paper

Fast and Fabulous

This very simple card, no matter what I did, wouldn't allow me to add anymore to it (I tend to do the more is better thing).  The colors are pear pizzazz, rich razzleberry, and very vanilla.  One simple image in the center from the Fast and Fabulous Hostess level 2 stamp set, a Curly Cute sentiment, and we're good to go.  Okay, I had to add something to it ... one rhinestone in the center.

To earn your Hostess Sets, simply hold a workshop in your home or mine, and you could earn this set, along with FREE product!  Can't get any better than that.  Call me at 262-783-5718 or email me to book your workshop today.  All you have to do is invite your friends (experienced or not)....all supplies are provided and you only need to bring your enthusiasm.

Fall Tasteful Trim

This card was soooo easy, it was scary (for me anyway).  I love the new Tasteful Trim Big XL Die found in the Holiday Mini.  It can cut through card stock as well as layers of fabric.  Perfect for any quilter!  The colors are cajun craze (such a rich color for fall), very vanilla, and Autumn Spice designer specialty paper.  The stamp sets are Day of Gratitude and Curly Cute.

Autumn Spice Thinking of You

The new Autumn Spice Specialty paper is so nice.  It is textured and actually more of a card stock.  It pairs so nicely with the Day of Gratitude Stamp set.  The colors are more mustard, cajun craze and early espresso.  The new ribbon punch adds a nice accent border to the card.  For a little dimension, there is an additional piece of more mustard embossed with the square lattice folder.  Nice quick and easy card.

This is a good time to order your fall and winter Stampin' Up! supplies.  Remember, for every $50 you order (from me), you will be added to the 50/50 customer rewards drawing.  A recent winner was thrilled with her $50 spending spree!

Dresser Card

Another step card -- dresser style.  This is a CASE, but could not find the original creator (sorry).  We made this at club last night, and it didn't take long, either.  The background is done in chocolate chip.  The drawers are made using the modern label punch, and stamped with Tiny Tags, sponged, and topped off with a gold lame smooch drawer pull.  The Chantilly lace trim is popping out of the top drawer, just for fun.  The bottom of the dresser is also punched with half of the modern label punch.

The mirror is punched in brushed silver using the new punch found in the Holiday Mini called Decorative Label.  The brushed gold frame is also punched from the same punch ... are you interested in finding out how I actually made it?  Comment below, and I'll do a tutorial or video.

The Newsprint Designer Series paper adds to the charm.  The flower on the mirror is made using the branch from the extra large bird punch and the heart is from the small heart punch.  The antique button is centered on a Chantilly Lace bow.  The Teeny Tiny Wishes adds to the sentiment (it would also make a great birthday card).

If you are interested in joining a club, feel free to email me.

Rolled Flower

I know I promised a video, but I have been really sick since my last post...I could do a "silent", I'll wait.  So I wanted to at least post the full card.  The background is in pear pizzazz, and the other colors are concord crush and whisper white.  The designer paper is from the In-Color pack, and the stamp set is For All You Do.

Have a great day.

Autumn Spice

I love new toys!  Well, actually, I've had the supplies for about a month now, but now I get to show you with all the details.  The new Autumn Spice Designer Specialty paper is wonderful; it's a textured card stock, rather than the typical paper.  It matches the stamp set Day of Gratitude, which is used here.  The punch is the new Decorative Label punch.  The colors are Cajun Craze, More Mustard, and Early Espresso. The ribbon is pleated using glue dots, and accented with an Antique Brad.

If you have not received your hard copy of the mini catalog, and would like one, feel free to email me (U.S. customers only).
