I {Heart} Hearts

Here is an elegant card using the slit punch circle border technique.  Click here to view the video for the technique.  On this card I used melon mambo and black.  It's very rich looking and could be a masculine card as well.

TIPS:
  • The groom designer paper adds the shimmer.  The hearts are stamped using the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set, embossed with black embossing powder.  I tried stamping with black then embossing with clear EP, but it didn't come out as rich, so I stamped in Versamark, then embossed with black EP, and it was much darker.
  • Black satin ribbon continues to add to the richness of the look.
  • Using the Heart to Heart punch for a group of the hearts saves time when cutting out the hearts.
