The More the Merrier Hearts

Did you ever start with one thing in mind and have the project totally different.  Well, this is one of those cards.  I started with a challenge, and it's nothing like it.  I'll have to try again.  Typically I start with the sketch and colors, then add the image.  This time I started with the image first ... that threw me off.  It still like the way the card turned out though.

TIPS:
  • Punches are a great way to add different shapes, without having to cut them out with a scissors.  The extra large two-step bird punch is a great example.  The new style punch from the occasions mini is easy to use and convenient to store.
  • The heart border punch is a petite border with a big impact.
  • Embosslits are a convenient way to punch and emboss all at one time.  The heart embosslit layers perfectly with the heart punch.
  • Gathering with friends and family to stamp is a great way to earn the level 3 stamp set, The More the Merrier, used for the birds.  Email me to schedule your gathering.
